'Today, if you get the budget right, your film finds an audience'

Actor-director Farhan Akhtar has won popular acclaim - and Filmfare awards - for his movies. The German embassy in Delhi recently showcased Akhtar's film Don - The King Is Back, about to be screened at the ongoing 62nd Berlinale International Film Festival featuring cinema from 115 countries. The 57th Idea Filmfare Awards painted a picture of a new, evolved Bollywood - one that is more closer to reality than it has been in the past.

The Filmfare had much to celebrate, says the editor, with three new remarkable stars - those three vital characteristics of Bollywood that have taken center-stage off late, and aided in its transition.
